The APCO Global Alliance today announced the APCO World Congress, taking place in Dubai, June 6-8, 2011.  The APCO Global Alliance is a coalition of APCO organizations around the world, including the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International, APCO Australasia, APCO Canada and British APCO (BAPCO).  An agreement was signed yesterday at the APCO International 76th Annual Conference and Exposition in Houston, Texas, solidifying the plans for the event.

“The inaugural APCO World Congress will display the latest innovations and thinking in public safety communications,” said Gavin Hayes, chair of the APCO Global Alliance and vice president of APCO Canada.  “Exhibitors from around the globe will showcase groundbreaking technologies and trends to a
