911-Inc. Expands Leadership with Addition of Vice Presidents of Engineering, Operations

Denver, January 12, 2011: 911-Inc. (www.911-inc.com), a Denver-based emergency call handling software developer, has added two key management positions, Edie Apke as Vice President of Engineering and Mike Yeater was promoted to Vice President of Operations. 911-Inc has increased headcount by 25% over the last six months, readying the company for explosive growth in new products and enhanced customer service.

Apke brings to 911-Inc. more than 25 years of leadership experience in the telecom industry. Her primary responsibilities include management of the 911-Inc. software research and development program, partner interoperability certification program, and quality assurance/system test team. Apke manages a team of engineers and testers with expectations to significantly expand the team in 2011 to support the increase in new 911-Inc. emergency call handling products, and NG9-1-1 and i3 compliant solutions. Prior to 911-Inc., Apke held senior telecommunications development and professional services leadership positions at Lucent Technologies and Polycom. She holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EECS) from the University of California at Berkeley.

Yeater is responsible for the Professional Services department, ensuring the successful installation of new systems, maintenance of current systems, and overall customer satisfaction. Yeater joined 911-Inc. in 2009 bringing more than 15 years of human resource and project management experience and has worked to consistently deliver a positive customer experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.

Additional staff additions include Scott Hallowell as a Lead Senior Software Engineer with responsibilities including the development of future 911-Inc. call handling software; Nathan Teodoro, as a Regional Account Manager based in Pittsburg; Letebrhan Gebre-Egziabher as Quality Assurance Engineer; Daniel Wang as Software Engineer, and Debbie Szabo, who joined the Helpdesk team as Systems Engineer.
