Hamilton County, Ind., Celebrates NPSTW
Joe Mangas, director of Communications for the Hamilton County (Ind.) Public Safety Communications Center, Hamilton County Sheriffs Office, tells PSC:
The Hamilton County Public Safety Communications Center located at the Sheriff’s Office in Noblesville, Ind., celebrated the week with our co-workers from the Noblesville Communications Center. Our week included receiving well wishes from some of agencies that we dispatch for which include food trays, flowers, and freebies, etc.
On Thursday evening, we held our fourth annual telecommunicators get together and dinner. At the dinner, the personnel were thanked for the job that they do, and this year, each member of the communications staff received a NOAA Weather Radio. The radios were donated by our county emergency management agency. The radio’s not only promote preparation for severe weather, but they act as a life saver to all that have them.
Over all it was a fun week, a week that we all look forward too from year to year.
