APCO Awards Contract to ATDI Inc.
Daytona Beach, Fla., Aug. 11, 2011— AFC, the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International’s Spectrum Management Division is pleased to announce the selection of ATDI, Inc. as their Radio Frequency (RF) network engineering software platform vendor.
ATDI will provide a zero-footprint, Modified Off-the-Shelf software solution and assistance in frequency coordination analyses and communication with FCC to support 70 volunteer local advisors that work with AFC and staff. ATDI will also use flagship Commercial Off-the-Shelf RF Network planning tools, ICS telecom and ICS map server as part of customized delivery. The customization include fully compliant FCC Part 90 Narrowbanding requirements new features such as implementation of Technical Systems Bulletin 88.C (TSB-88.C) from the Telecommunications Industry Association and Region 8 compliance.
