Eaton Introduces Free-Standing Console for use in Multiple Command and Control Center Markets

Company Representative September 21, 2011 Product & Service Announcements

RALEIGH, N.C. …Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced the launch of Profile Genesys™, a new, high performance, modular, height-adjustable, command and control center workstation from Eaton’s Wright Line business. Genesys is designed for markets such as 911/emergency dispatch, medical imaging, network operation centers, process control, security, transportation management and trading desk environments. Genesys is an addition to Eaton’s Profile Advanced Console System.

“Today’s command center personnel not only demand highly functional, flexible and ergonomic equipment, but they also want an attractive work center, whatever its size,” said Carl Cottuli, vice president product development and services for Eaton. “Eaton’s Profile Genesys line provides a visually pleasing, ergonomic, independent workstation solution that is highly customizable in any kind of free-flowing spatial configuration.”

Profile Genesys can also be integrated into the existing six inch steel core walls of the Profile console platform. It is GREENGUARD Indoor Quality Certified by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute and compliant with ANSI/HFES 100-2007 Human Factors Engineering Standards. In addition, the Profile Genesys monitor deck and keyboard work surface can be individually controlled via a compact LED touchpad that offers up to three memory positions.

No longer bound by geometric shape considerations, the ergonomic Profile Genesys line is designed for any type of concave, convex or other space configuration designs. As a stand-alone console, Profile Genesys offers the clean and graceful appearance preferred by many architects and designers. It incorporates a sit-to-stand option, and its architecture provides unique technology storage, power and cable management capabilities.

The new console is priced according to configuration. Literature and price quotations can be provided upon request.
