America’s Most Wanted Host John Walsh Calls on Congress to Allocate D Block to Public Safety
On Oct. 26, John Walsh, Host of America’s Most Wanted and leading child protection advocate, asked Congress to help “first preventers” save and better protect the lives of our children, elderly and special needs communities from crime and health threats by creating a real-time, mission-critical nationwide broadband network.
“The House has to get a conscience, and the Energy and Commerce Committee has to bring it to a vote,” Walsh said. “This is a no-brainer.” For additional details, check out the technology blog in THE HILLS .

John Walsh gives his remarks during one of many Department of Justice Press Conferences.
Dick Mirgon, former APCO International president and Charles Dowd, deputy chief of New York City Police Department, joined Walsh during the press conference encouraging Congress to swiftly pass legislation that allocates the D Block spectrum to public safety.
