Wisconsin: New World Systems Will Help Dodge County Public Safety Agencies Share Information
Troy, Mich. —Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, Wis. is partnering with an industry leader in public safety software to enhance information sharing. The Sheriff’s Office has signed a contract to license New World Systems’ suite of Aegis Public Safety solutions to improve dispatching and access to information for the County’s 21 public safety agencies.
“New World offered us the best configurable, multi-jurisdictional software to meet the needs of the Sheriff’s Office and our County agencies,” said Lieutenant Ninmann. “Their integrated solutions will help us achieve our goals of consolidating public safety records and ensuring all agencies have access to important criminal and safety information. New World also offered us the most company stability of any vendor we evaluated. It’s very important to know our software will continue to be supported for the next 10 years or more.”
The Sheriff’s Office will use New World’s Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software with advanced mapping capabilities to provide fast and accurate dispatch services for Dodge County agencies. New World’s Records Management and Mobile Computing software will enable each agency within the County to share records, quickly communicate and easily access information. Officers will be safer and better able to protect citizens with more information about crime in neighboring communities.
The Sheriff’s Office is also looking forward to using New World’s software to participate in State-wide information sharing. A seamless interface will allow the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office to submit information through the Wisconsin Justice Information Sharing (WIJIS) program without time-consuming data entry.
New World’s software will help the Sheriff’s Office and affiliated agencies streamline manual processes, save time and better serve more than 88,700 County residents.
