NPSTC Releases Report on Impact of Legislation Requiring Auction of T-Band
Alexandria, VA – The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International commends the National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC) for its leadership in chartering the T-Band Working Group and facilitating its resulting T-Band report.
NPSTC and approximately 60 working group members dedicated significant time and their collective expertise to produce a comprehensive report on the impact of legislation that requires auction and clearing of the T-Band by early 2023. The report stresses the important significance of the T-Band to public safety communications where it is available and in use.
“As a NPSTC member organization, APCO was pleased to have played a role in developing the analysis and findings contained in the report,” said APCO President Terry Hall. President Hall continued “this report will be of great value to the public safety community and policymakers as the impact of the legislation continues to be considered.”
