APCO International’s 79th Annual Conference & Expo starts this Sunday, Aug. 18, and many APCO members are beginning to arrive in Anaheim. This year’s conference and expo will provide top-level educational sessions and the opportunity to network with peers and vendors alike.

At APCO 2013 attendees will have the opportunity to network with over 2,500 individuals in the public safety communications field.  During the numerous special events, there will ample time to talk with other attendees and make new contacts, as well as visit with old friends.

Taking place Sunday through Wednesday, professional development tracks will provide attendees with the opportunity to attend sessions that focus on everything from communications center management, NG9-1-1 technology and emergency preparedness to regulatory and legislative issues.

At the Distinguished Achievers Breakfast, the Opening General Session and the Food for Thought Luncheon, attendees will hear from keynote speakers who have overcome great obstacles to find success in the public safety community and beyond.
