The benefits of a P25-compliant system are much touted and include cost savings plus improved communications capabilities to an agency’s users. But if your agency is considering Project 25 implementation, the road ahead can seem daunting. In this webcast, Stephen Devine, assistant director of the Missouri Department of Public Safety/Missouri Interoperability Center, will share key steps and lessons learned from his agency’s recent switch to a Statewide Project 25 Interoperability Network, the Missouri Statewide Interoperability Network (MOSWIN).
You’ll learn:
  • The benefits of Project 25, in both cost effective procurement and performance, and the reasons why agencies switch.
  • The size and scope of the Missouri project, how many state and local agencies were involved, and how they obtained buy-in.
  • Challenges faced during implementation and how they were overcome.
  • Resources needed to implement a P25 system.
  • Considerations for others thinking about going digital.
