Tusa Consulting Services Acquires Pubic Safety Video Communications Company MWF Enterprises

Agency Representative September 18, 2013 Product & Service Announcements

Covington, LA—Tusa Consulting Services (TCS) has announced its acquisition of MWF Enterprises out of Lancaster, PA, extending its capabilities into the video production arena.

Custom training, public information and emergency preparedness videos can be produced in-house with Tusa’s team of award winning filmmakers. Their unique background in public service allows them to write, direct and produce videos without the learning curve associated with the technical complexities in radio communications.

According to Nick Tusa, Founder and Partner of TCS, the company’s ability to customize client videos based on specific needs helps eliminate confusion from the end user.

“Our videos include location-appropriate footage and device illustrations that accurately depict our clients’ individual systems,” he said. “Emergency personnel can become familiar with their system at the time of hire, without waiting for a formal training session.”

Because videos can be accessed from computers, websites, tablets and other mobile devices, personnel can refer back to the videos to refresh their knowledge whenever needed.

The acquisition also enables TCS to provide more expansive mission-critical radio design, procurement and project implementation services to clients throughout the Northeast.

ABOUT: Tusa Consulting Services has supported public safety communications since 1991. Servicing mostly municipalities, counties or regional groups that are already using some form of radio communications, TCS has also helped clients plan and implement their transition to P25. Tusa also offers customized video capabilities for training and public information purposes.
