9-1-1 Adviser Dispatch Software Approved in New Jersey

APCO International October 7, 2013 APCO, Industry, Technology

Alexandria, VA – Recently the New Jersey Office of Emergency Telecommunications Services (NJ-OETS) approved APCO’s 9-1-1 Adviser as a software solution that New Jersey public safety answering points (PSAPs) may use to electronically triage EMD calls.

With its configurability and exceptional affordability, 9-1-1 Adviser provides an easy-to-use electronic dispatch solution that will greatly benefit PSAPs in New Jersey.

“APCO is pleased that 9-1-1 Adviser software was approved for use in New Jersey,” said APCO President Gigi Smith. “PSAPs now have the ability to use medical dispatch guidecards in an electronic format at a reasonable cost.”

9-1-1 Adviser, developed in partnership with Smart Horizons, includes APCO’s baseline EMD, law enforcement, fire, and missing and exploited children guidecard sets. The software provides a dynamic, robust delivery system that has been implemented by many agencies across the country.  It continues to gain in popularity as states look to modernize PSAPs and implement standard call-taking practices using locally approved dispatch content.
