New Phase 2 P25 Portable from Kenwood Allows for Easy Migration

The Kenwood TK-5410D

(Suwanee, GA) Kenwood announces the TK-5410D Phase 2 portable radio, built on the TK-5410 platform, and allowing easy migration for agencies to Phase 2 P25 operation.

The new TK-5410D meets water and dust intrusion and water immersion standards IP-54/55/66/67 and IP-68 and is compatible with standard ANK advanced network key programming option.  Audio accessories that are new to this radio include the KMC-42WD, KMC-47GPSD, KMC-51WD and KMC-52WD, while current audio accessories are functional in conventional and P25 FDMA modes.

The TK-5410D is a 3 Watt portable and is available with or without a keypad and meets MIL-STD 810C, D, E, F and G.  It is capable of operation in P25 conventional as well as P25 Phase 1 and 2 trunking modes.
