Zetron Donates Over $11,000 to Aid Oso (Wash.) Mudslide Victims

Redmond, Wash. – Zetron, a provider of mission-critical communication systems for public safety, transportation and utilities, is donating over $11,000 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief to aid victims of the mudslide that struck the community of Oso, Washington, March 22, 2014. The contribution includes donations from Zetron employees and matching funds from the company and Zetron president and CEO, Ellen O’Hara.

The mudslide, one of the deadliest in United States history, has claimed 33 lives; 10 people remain missing or unaccounted for as a result of the slide.

“We extend our deepest sympathies to the communities of Oso and Arlington and all those who have lost family, friends and homes as a result of the mudslide,” said O’Hara. “We sincerely hope that our contribution will aid survivors in their efforts to recover from this tragedy.”

Financial contributions can be made to the American Red Cross by visiting www.redcross.org or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation. Donations can also be mailed to a local American Red Cross chapter.
