Emergency CallWorks Expands SaaS Offering across the U.S.

Company Representative June 17, 2014 Product & Service Announcements

Emergency CallWorks, Inc., a leading provider of Next Generation (NG) 9-1-1 and incident management software for the public safety industry, expanded its hosting capabilities and SaaS offerings by adding two new network operating centers. The centers, located in Alabama and Texas, allow faster and broader deployment of Emergency CallWorks’ modular public safety offering with enhanced performance.

Emergency CallWorks made the announcementat the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) 2014 Conference & Expo in Nashville, Tenn.

Emergency CallWorks has host-remote deployments across the country including the Southeast, Southwest, Midwest, Northeast and Great Plains states.

Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) customers who choose Emergency CallWorks SaaS eliminate the need for large upfront capital purchases and better match their collections and operating budgets with a monthly per-user charge. In addition, Emergency CallWorks SaaS allows customers to remain current with the latest NG 9-1-1 capabilities, so as standards evolve, emergency response operations don’t have to wait for slow, costly upgrades. It’ll lower costs and simplify deployment and maintenance while providing built-in geo-diversity disaster preparedness.

Functionally, Emergency CallWorks SaaS improves emergency response, streamlines operations and consolidates workflow. Features include emergency call taking, mapping, incident management and decision support in one, natively integrated platform. Instead of building onto legacy 9-1-1 system technology and silos, this software was developed from the ground up to take advantage of NG 9-1-1 standards and new technologies.

Instead of building onto legacy 9-1-1 system technology and silos, the ECW solution was developed from the ground up to take advantage of the new NG 9-1-1 standards, the latest technology and state-of-the art capabilities for hosted deployments. The Emergency CallWorks 9-1-1 call management solution provides users with a more intuitive, web browser-based interface to manage calls. The software is built to allow faster innovation, more scalability, lower cost, fault tolerance and needs substantially less hardware than typical emergency call taking systems. The solution will be deployed in an easily scalable, geo-diverse, multi-site environment with flexibility and capacity to handle community growth, consolidation strategies and geographical or disaster recovery situations.

“We continue to add innovation that provides top tier, high-end capabilities while lowering cost and adding quality to solutions our customers need to respond to their citizens and the first responders who handle emergency situations,” CEO of Emergency CallWorks Craig Parker said. “In every aspect of our business we strive to provide value based on innovation in a way that creates a much more satisfied customer. The expansion of our hosted and SaaS offerings is further evidence of our commitment to improving outcomes for our customers with innovation. We have had tremendous interest in the multi-agency interoperability capabilities that our hosted solutions offer and we are aggressively adding other host-remote deployments as we accelerate our nationwide expansion plans. ”
