Cynde McMurray

We are sad to pass on the news that public safety telecommunicator and APCO member Cynde McMurray passed away on October 27. Cynde’s passing was unexpected and a tragic loss to all who knew her.

Cynde started her career as a public safety telecommunicator in Chester County, S.C., in 1996. She joined York County (S.C.) Public Safety Communications in November of 2009. “Cynde was a valuable part of our team and will be missed by the many lives she touched and each of the emergency responders that she protected every day,” said Gary Loflin, director of York County Public Safety Communications and APCO executive council member. “We will all miss her laugh and her smile.”

Please keep Cynde’s husband, Captain Doug McMurray of the Chester County Sheriff’s Office, in your thoughts, along with their children and grandchildren.
