APCO International Announces 2015 Award Winners

Alexandria, VA – The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International is pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 Public Safety Communications Awards and Technology in Leadership Awards. The winners will be recognized during the Opening General Session at APCO 2015, APCO’s Annual Conference & Expo taking place August 16-19 in Washington, DC.

The award recipients demonstrated the highest levels of professional conduct and outstanding performance in the line of duty. This year, APCO received more than 240 nominations from across the country.

Team of the Year
Bell County Communications Center, Evening Shift Operations Team
Belton, TX

Technology Leadership Award for a Large Communications Center
Harris County Sheriff Office, Mobile Command Unit
Houston, TX

Technology Leadership Award for a Small Communications Center
Chagrin Valley Regional
Bedford, OH
