Dispatcher of Grafton County and Lincoln Fire Rescue Captain Steven Bomba, 25, passed away on August 19 in a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 93 in Canterbury after attending the 170th Police Academy graduation in Durham. His funeral was held on August 21, and his casket was carried by members of the state police and a firefighter motorcycle group. Calling hours were held on August 23 at the Fournier-Hale Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial was held at the St. Joseph Church in Lincoln on August 24.
