APCO Congratulates New CPE Graduates

APCO International July 20, 2017 APCO

APCO International is pleased to announce that the following individuals have successfully completed the Certified Public-Safety Executive (CPE) Program. A graduation ceremony was held July 20 at APCO headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Drawing on resources from renowned leadership professionals and distinguished academic resources, the CPE Program allows participants to explore topics that include management versus leadership, models/theories of leadership, leadership styles, public safety leadership issues, and executing and managing change.

Instructors include masters and doctoral level professionals in the field of organizational development and leadership. The CPE program consists of two 12-week online courses and an intensive nine-day capstone seminar at APCO headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Congratulations to the following individuals who have earned the prestigious professional designation of Certified Public-Safety Executive:

Douglas Campbell, RPL, CPE – Deputy Director, City of Alexandria (VA) Department of Emergency Communications 911

Susan Stowell Corder, CPE – Director, Knowledge Management and Member Services, APCO International

Jenna DiPlacido, CPE – Regional E911 Communications Manager, Broward County (FL) Office of Regional Communications and Technology

Natalie Duran, CPE – Adjunct Instructor, APCO Institute

Jennifer Kirkland, RPL, CPE – Operations Support Supervisor, Vail (CO) Public Safety Communications Center

Farokh Latif, CPE – Director, AFC-APCO’s Spectrum Management Division

Esmond Marvray II, RPL, CPE – PSC Squad Supervisor, City of Alexandria (VA) Department of Emergency Communications 911

Dominick Nutter, RPL, CPE – Emergency Communications Director, City of Raleigh (NC)

Julie Ray, CPE – Director, APCO Institute

Deborah Sands, CPE – 911 Systems Manager/911 Coordinator, Brevard County (FL) Board of County Commissioners
