Company Representative November 8, 2017 Product & Service Announcements

Arlington VA. (November 3, 2017) – The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-8.10 Engineering Committee on Trunking and Conventional Control has issued a call for interest for two new documents: ANSI/TIA-102.AABC-D-3 initially titled “Trunking Control Channel Messages Addendum 3” and TSB-102-D, Project 25 TIA-102 Documentation Suite Overview.

The addendum to TIA-102.AABC-D is intended to enhance trunking control channel messages by specifying an Accessory Sensed Emergency” (ASE) bit in the “Special Information 1” field of the EMRG_ALRM_REQ message to convey additional information regarding a specific emergency alarm scenario request.

The revision of the TIA-102 Documentation Suite Overview is a general update integrating three addenda and a myriad of editorial enhancements.

The stakeholders may include, but are not limited to: P25 manufacturers and customers.
