APCO Files Project Initiation Notification to Reaffirm a Standard

APCO International November 21, 2017 APCO

Alexandria, VA –The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International filed a Project Initiation Notification to reaffirm APCO ANS 1.111.2-201x Public Safety Communications Common Disposition Codes for Data Exchange.

The revision and re-designation process occurs every five years for all American National Standards. This ensures that all standards are up to date with current trends in operations, training and technology.

“APCO is the premier standards setting body for public safety communications.  Routine review and revision of standards ensures that they are up to date and relevant,” said Martha Carter, President of APCO International.
