We have learned that Life Member Alan L. Armitage passed away last night from renal failure and cancer. He served as APCO International President 1976-77 and was active in the Atlantic, Ohio and Colorado Chapters. He chaired the 2005 Annual Conference in Denver. Aside from a tour of duty for the U.S. Army, 1964-67, Al spent a majority of his career in service to Monmouth and Hunterdon Counties in New Jersey. Lynn and her sister were reportedly with him when he passed. A memorial service is scheduled on April 26 at 6 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park, 26624 N. Turkey Creek Rd., Evergreen, Colorado.
