Company Representative April 17, 2018 Product & Service Announcements

LYNCHBURG, Va., April 16, 2018 — Sublette County has selected Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) to transition its conventional analog communications system to a new Project 25 (P25) Phase 2 digital network that provides increased reliability, coverage, interoperability and functionality.

Harris will provide an end-to-end, five-site, multicast/multiband network, including two geo-separated VIDA® converged and integrated service platforms; SymphonyTM command center dispatch consoles; XL-200P LTE-capable, multiband P25 portable and mobile radios; and the BeOn® mobile Push-to-Talk application for integration of narrowband and broadband solutions.

The new P25 network will connect the more than 500 users and first responders working in and around Sublette County, and can interoperate with all state agencies and systems within Wyoming, including WyoLink, a statewide P25 Phase 1 network.

“Reliable communications is critical not only because it increases the safety of first responders, but also increases our ability to keep the public safe,” said Sublette County Fire Chief Shad Cooper. “We are very excited to build the most advanced communication network in the state, and look forward to a long partnership with the Harris Corporation.”

“Sublette County trusts Harris to provide its mission-critical communications system,” said Nino DiCosmo, president, Harris Public Safety and Professional Communications. “We look forward to growing our partnership and providing the essential connectivity that enables first responders to serve their communities.”
