Alexandria, Va. – The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International is seeking comments on candidate American National Standard (ANS) 2.106.1-201x which addresses site hardening requirements for public safety grade sites.

“Public safety grade sites needs to be hardened enough to withstand the onslaught of natural and manmade conditions that may directly impact the site,” said APCO International President Martha Carter. “This standard requires various characteristics to ensure that network sites are sufficiently robust.”
