Thomas Miller Joins Federal Engineering as the Expansion of its NG911/ECC Practice Continues

Company Representative June 28, 2018 Product & Service Announcements

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, June 25, 2018 — Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) announced Thomas A. Miller has joined the firm as Business Development Manager, continuing the expansion of FE’s Next Generation 9-1-1/Emergency Communications Center (NG911/ECC) practice. Miller will be primarily responsible for business development activities in the Western United States.

Miller has been active in the public safety industry for nearly forty years. He comes to FE with a lengthy public safety background, both in the public and private section. He has worked for such firms as Securus Technologies, Intrado, Harris Corporation, and Northrop Grumman. Before turning to the private sector, Miller was the Chief of Police in the cities of Oak Harbor, Washington and Edmonds, Washington.

Ronald F. Bosco, FE’s President and CEO, stated: “We are excited to have Tom join our team focusing on our PSAP/NG911 sales and allied business development efforts. As radio, data, and 9-1-1 services have become more integrated, Federal Engineering has grown to ensure jurisdictions can continue to obtain a broad range of consulting services from one firm. The integration of the FE/Kimball NG911/ECC consulting practices have complemented and expanded FE’s historical land mobile radio consulting. Our clients now benefit from decades of experience in NG911, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management Systems (RMS), GIS, consolidation, and wireless communications planning, design, and integration, as well as governance planning. As demand for these services continues to grow, FE continues to add capabilities so our clients can continue to rely upon our firm for all of its public safety system consulting needs.”
