Silent Key: Bradley H. Veerman

Bradley H. Veerman, 54, of New Lenox, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 6, 2018 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Brad was born in Joliet to June (nee Bailey) and the late Arthur H. Veerman Jr.

Beloved husband of April (nee Pearcy) “The Love of His Life”; loving father of Nicole Veerman and Kevin Veerman; dear brother of Arthur “Butch” (Rachel) Veerman III, and Kathy (Duane) Hall-Roy; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends survive.

Brad was the Executive Director of Laraway 9-1-1 Communications Center, and Will County Forest Preserve Police Officer. Former Communications Center Director @ Lincolnway Public Safety 9-1-1, East Joliet Fire Protection District for 23 years retiring as Captain, former Frankfort and New Lenox Police Officer, former employee New Lenox Comm Center, and former member of Argonne National Laboratory Fire Department. Brad started his career with Kurtz Ambulance at the age of 16 and remains part of the Kurtz family today. Brad was a member of Ingalls Park A.C., member and past President of New Lenox Fire Protection District Trustees, member and past President of New Lenox and Frankfort F.O.P., past President of East Joliet Fire Protection District Volunteer Organization, and he served as a volunteer for numerous organizations and was a member of many boards.
