APCO Seeks Comments on Draft Incident Handling Process Standard

Alexandria, Va. – The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International is seeking comments on a Candidate American National Standard (ANS) 1.113.1-201x that provides agencies with a guide for processing incidents and can be used as a tool for improving performance.

“This standard was validated through a multi-step process analysis which was conducted across the country with industry experts,” said APCO International President Martha Carter.

The public may review and comment on this candidate standard from July 20 through September 3, 2018.  Reviewers may use the following link to access the document for review and comment:
