Dennis “Buzzy” Gavin passed away on July 7, 2019, at age 53. Raised in Pasadena, MD, Dennis worked for Anne Arundel County Police for 12 years as a 9-1-1 public safety telecommunicator. He was a member of Severna Park Elks, an avid Nascar fan and liked casinos. Dennis was a doting father who enjoyed taking his sons to the Nascar racetrack and family trips to the beach.

Dennis was the beloved husband of 27 years to Stacey Holt Gavin; loving father of Nicholas James and Zachary Thomas Gavin; cherished son of Linda and the late Thomas Gavin; dear brother of Tommy Gavin; devoted son in law of Gloria and the late Albert Holt; brother in law of Kimberly and Kenneth Roussey, Sandy Dembeck and Jim Hohrein; uncle of Kenny, Kristopher, Jennifer and Hunter; great uncle of Ryan, Olivia and Emma.
