APCO is Seeking Comments for the Candidate Public Safety Communications Center Key Performance Indicators Standard

Alexandria, VA – The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International is seeking comments for the candidate American National Standards (ANS) Public Safety Communications Center Key Performance Indicators.

This standard identifies specific areas of communications center performance, which should be measured in order to benchmark center effectiveness. The standard provides communications center management with key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the operational performance of communications centers.

“This standard is crucial in providing an additional quality improvement and monitoring tool for emergency communications center managers and directors,” said Holly Wayt, President of APCO International.

The public may review and comment on this candidate standard from August 16, 2019, through September 30, 2019.  Reviewers may use the following link to access the document for review and comment:
