Montreal, Quebec – Sustema, leading manufacturer of technical furniture and control room solutions, announced that it will feature its upgraded Personal Environmental System – PES 360 at the APCO tradeshow in Baltimore, Maryland.

PES 360

Sustema’s personal environmental system PES 360 provides operator’s with full control of their workspace at their fingertips. The capacitive touch screen allows dispatchers to control the fan speed, temperature, lighting levels, lift surface heights, task lights, and alerting system. Sustema’s console lines are well-known for their ease of integration, modularity, scalability, durability, and ergonomic features in the public safety industry.

Sustema’s ergonomic console design seeks to reduce the anxiety and distractions experienced by 911 dispatchers on a daily basis with ergonomic design elements such as; sitting, standing, legroom clearance, reach zones, and viewing angles to deliver unparalleled comfort and control. The PES 360 integrates to the console seamlessly to serve as a central control unit and eliminate the need for multiple fan or heater controls, leaving the workspace uncluttered.

Height-adjustable surfaces can be fine-tuned to the operator’s needs while encouraging users to remain active by integrate movement throughout the day, which is vital for health. Focal depth adjustment and user-controlled task and ambient lighting allow operators to adjust the environment easily over the course of a shift. The console system controlled through the digital interface allows for optimum operator comfort with fresh air distributed above the work surface and easy to use finger-tip controls.

“Given the dynamic nature of 911 dispatch centers and the importance to react quickly during emergencies reminds us at Sustema to continue innovating and finding ways to improve the functionality of our consoles so dispatchers can ultimately better serve their communities” said Guy Boudreault President, Sustema.
