Coaching and Mentoring for Comm Center Success: How You Say It Matters

“Coaching conversations are the only way we can help our coworkers and employees become their best,” according to former 9-1-1 dispatcher Adam Timm, now a trainer, author and consultant.

Every single one of your leaders should be a coach, with coaching occurring daily. Empowering CTOs to have those daily coaching conversations is crucial to long term success for both trainees and future leadership.

Promoting and facilitating volunteer mentor relationships will also do wonders for your centers.

When someone is angry they are telling you that they think what’s being discussed is important and that you are not listening.
