APCO Is Seeking Comments for the Candidate Standard Cybersecurity Training for Public Safety Communications Personnel
Alexandria, VA – The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International is seeking comments for the candidate American National Standards (ANS) Cybersecurity Training for Public Safety Communications Personnel. This standard provides minimum cybersecurity training standards and best practices for every key position in the emergency communications center.
“As cybersecurity threats to public safety communications continue to rise, the need for vigilant and effective cybersecurity awareness and best practices training cannot be overstated,” said Tracey M. Hilburn, President of APCO International.
