Silent Key: Kenneth C. Yoder
Retired Austin Radio Frequency coordinator Kenneth C. Yoder, 86, passed away Nov. 7. He served as an APCO frequency adviser for more than 30 years. He received the APCO Senior Member and Life Member designations. He trained in radio operations and repair in the Army after high school and later joined the Air National Guard. In the U.S. Air Force he became a frequency manager for the Air Force Communications Command. He served in the U.S. and Europe until his retirement in 1985. After his service career, he worked as a frequency coordinator for the Department of Public Safety in Austin, Texas.
