Zetron Hosting Peer Support and Wellness Webinar for Public Safety Emergency Services Professionals

Company Representative August 6, 2020 Product & Service Announcements

Redmond, Wash., – August 6, 2020 – Zetron, a global leader in integrated mission critical communications technology, today announced it will hold a live complimentary webinar on Wellness and Peer Support programs for emergency services professionals on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The webinar will feature subject matter experts in emergency communications wellness and peer support programs, including Maureen Dieckmann, CEO of Moetivations; Pam Opoka, ENP, Regional 911 and Commander Level Peer Support Program Planner, Mid-America Regional Council; and JC Ferguson, Commander, Austin-Travis County EMS.

Emergency services professionals are bombarded on a daily basis with exposure to traumatic events, emotional stress, technology challenges, and more, not to mention whatever issues they may be contending with in their personal lives. The goal of this webinar is to provide support and information on resources available to help reduce the impacts of crisis-related stress and improve the short and long term social, physical and mental health of public safety teams.

During the webinar, Maureen Dieckmann, Pam Opoka, ENP and JC Ferguson will provide valuable insights on successfully developing and tailoring wellness and peer support programs that provide critical support to public safety professionals based on the specific needs and priorities of the agency and personnel. Attendees will learn:
• What different types of Wellness and Peer Support programs to consider
• How to organize a program that will help all members of an agency
• How to get started with a basic peer support team, even in smaller agencies
• Where to find help for organizing Peer Support Programs

“Needless to say, 2020 has been a trying year for many, but maybe none more so than our ‘first’ first responders and the emergency services personnel they support,” said featured speaker, Maureen Dieckmann. “All are contending 24/7 with the health and societal issues that have defined this year, so I’m honored to partner with Zetron and my co-presenters to serve this industry, deliver invaluable resources to our every day heroes, and discuss how to get much needed help along the way. Health and Wellness is quite possibly a more timely and important topic than ever before.”

While configurability and ergonomic design that set the standard for customer ease of use, comfort, efficiency and overall user experience have long been core development tenets of Zetron mission critical communications solutions, the company does not specifically market wellness products or services.

“Zetron has been committed to delivering quality communications solutions to emergency services teams worldwide for 40 years, we’re deeply seated and invested in this community,” said Dan Delaney, Vice President of Channel Sales at Zetron. “So on August 13th we’re proudly taking a break from our regular business to bring recognized thought leaders on wellness and peer support together to benefit and serve the public safety community that never takes a break from serving the rest of us.”
