Alexandria, VA – The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International received a grant award of $60,000 from Motorola Solutions Foundation, the charitable arm of Motorola Solutions. The grant is administered through APCO’s Commercial Advisory Council Scholarship Program, which makes scholarship funds available to public safety communications professionals to participate in APCO Institute training.

The scholarship application period is from January 1 to March 31, 2023. Award recipients may use scholarship funds to enroll in any APCO Institute training and certification courses between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024. The Institute is the training division of APCO International and offers public safety communications practitioners worldwide comprehensive training in live, virtual classroom and online training formats.
