Effective Jan. 16, 2012, Evans Consoles Corp. welcomes Michael Wright to the position of Dispatch Product Manager. Michael’s primary function is to expand business opportunities in the 9-1-1 market. Michael will report to Jason Rowley, Vice President, Sales North America.

Following his military career with the United States Marine Corps; Honorable Discharge, E4, Michael joined Watson Furniture Systems, first in Production and then into escalating roles through Sales & Marketing, Manager of the Boeing Account, Product Development and then into Product Design for 911 Communication Centers.

In 1986 Michael launched MOWCO Corporation. Throughout the late eighties and into 2006 Michael spent much of his time in Boeing product development, sales and marketing, developed the first ergonomic Dispatch Console product line, managed over 700 Communication Center designs, developed a nationwide representative network and served as a member of The Association of Public Safety Communication Officials (APCO), a member of National Emergency Number Association and a member of the Corporate Advisory Committee (APCO).

In 2000 he sold MOWCO to Watson Furniture Systems which later became Watson Dispatch…he continued to serve the company as consultant through to 2006. By 2007 MOWCO/Connexion 24/7 was launched where Michael became co-owner of Connexion 24/7 providing designs, planning and product for 24/7 entities including Utilities, Transit, NOC and Public Safety. The company later sold in 2008 where Michael continued as a consultant to serve as National Sales Manager of Watson Dispatch. Today he is an active member of APTA as well as APCO and NENA.
