Daughter Won’t Get Beer, So Man Calls 9-1-1

A Florida man allegedly called 911 to accuse his daughter of assault because she wouldn’t get him more beer.
Robert Hagerman, 56, of Seminole, claimed she was on drugs and hit him, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
But the wary woman used her cellphone to record his drunken threats to lie to authorities.
Thursday night, sheriff’s deputies who made the arrest found Hagerman “very intoxicated and uncooperative.” The charge: a false report of a crime.
In early August, a Tennessee man called 911 and asked a dispatcher if she could give him a ride to the liquor store, according to ABCnews.com.
Allen Troy Brooks, 67, of Columbia, offered to pay. When the dispatcher refused, he told her she could “come now.”
A Murray County official commented it wasn’t that unusual.
“There has been everything from, ‘Can you bring me a Pepsi so I can burp? I have indigestion’ to ‘My Chia Pet died,” she said.
