Zetron Will Demo the First DMR-based Console Interface LIVE at IWCE
Zetron will demonstrate live at IWCE its new DMR-based console interface operating with its Acom EVO and MAX Dispatch systems. This will give customers the opportunity to observe some of the most recent developments in Zetron products’ ability to interoperate with open-standards-based networks and equipment.
Redmond, WA, U.S.A., February 14, 2013 – Zetron, a leading provider of mission-critical communications solutions worldwide, will be giving live demonstrations of its new DMR-based interface to its Advanced Communications (Acom EVO) and MAX Dispatch systems at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 13-14, 2013. Zetron products already support Project 25 (P25) and Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA) standards. Thus the DMR-based interface, which was developed in partnership with Tait Communications, extends even further Zetron’s support for open-standards-based networks and equipment. It also adds to the already considerable interoperability of the Acom EVO and MAX Dispatch systems. Zetron is a Category 1 member of the DMR Association.
“We are very excited to be demonstrating our new DMR interface live with two of our key dispatch systems—Acom EVO and MAX Dispatch,” said Zetron President and CEO, Ellen O’Hara. “The live demos will give customers the opportunity to witness firsthand the ability of these systems to support a standards-based DMR Tier-III trunked network. Zetron remains actively involved in providing an ever-increasing number of open-standards-based solutions because they offer customers such important benefits, including enhanced interoperability, cost effectiveness, and more choice in their selection of equipment.”
