FROM STAFF REPORTS, The Roanoke Times (Virginia)

On Monday, Christiansburg police released the 911 calls that law enforcement received the day of the April 12 shootings at New River Valley Mall.

The release includes 32 files and an extensive log of calls and police radio traffic that The Roanoke Times is reviewing.

Two women were shot during incident, which occurred at the New River Community College satellite location at the mall in Christiansburg. The women are recovering from their injuries, based on interviews with those who have had contact with the women and their families.

A suspect, Neil A. MacInnis, was arraigned last week on malicious wounding and gun charges. Police have said MacInnis was a student at the college.
