Zetron Exceeds 2 Million Hours of P25 CSSI-based Operation
Redmond, Wash. – Zetron has announced that implementations of its Advanced Communications (AcomEVO) system utilizing technologies based on the TIA Project 25 (P25) Console Subsystem Interface (CSSI) have logged more than 2 million hours of successful operation at customer sites throughout North and South America and Australia. This far exceeds the performance of any other CSSI-based dispatch console solution currently available and further strengthens Zetron’s position as a ground-breaking leader in the application of technologies that utilize the CSSI.
Zetron’s AcomEVO using CSSI-based technologies has been implemented for:
• Puget Sound Energy, Redmond, WA
• Los Angeles Fire Department, Los Angeles, CA
• Greater Toronto Airports Authority, Toronto Pearson International Airport, ON, Canada
• The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, ON, Canada
• The Cumberland County 9-1-1/Dispatch Center, Crossville, TN.
• Polícia Civil (Civil Police), São Paulo, Brazil.
• Companhia de Transmissão de Energia Elétrica Paulista (CTEEP), São Paulo, Brazil
• Ergon Energy, Queensland, Australia
“Zetron has a considerable and growing number of successful reference accounts that utilize the CSSI,” said Zetron president and CEO, Ellen O’Hara. “Zetron remains committed to delivering solutions that employ the CSSI and other open-standards-based technologies because of the critically important benefits they offer customers. These include improved interoperability, cross-system compatibility, and a broader range of equipment choices—all of which help our customers deliver the high levels of service their communities and constituents require.”
