APCO Seeks Workgroup Members to Participate in the Continuation of a Standard for Public Safety Communications Incident Handling Process

APCO International January 5, 2017 APCO

Alexandria, VA – The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International has issued a call for participation for workgroup members to participate in the creation of an ANSI standard addressing incident handling.

This standard  will identify the process of incident handling from incident initiation to the point of closure of the incident.

We are looking for a well-balanced group that will include contributions from technical and operational subject matter experts. The time and day that the workgroup will meet is yet to be established.

All interested persons should complete the online application and indicate their preference for this workgroup at Incident Handling Workgroup Application.
Application deadline is January 20, 2017, and selections will be made within two weeks of the deadline. All applicants will be notified of their status.
