Federal Engineering to Present at the 33rd Annual Illinois Public Safety Telecommunications Conference Association

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, October 30, 2017 — Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) Chief Consultant Neil Horden is scheduled to present at the 33rd Annual Illinois Public Safety Telecommunications Conference Association, to be held in Springfield, Illinois on November 5 through November 8, 2017. This important conference is sponsored by the Illinois chapters of APCO and NENA, and continues to be one of the largest and best attended events in the country.

Successful System Procurement; Avoiding the pitfalls through proper planning

Mr. Horden will discuss the insights FE has gained from working with many public agencies in specifying and procuring billions of dollars in communications systems. The methodologies and techniques employed to procure systems that meet users’ needs at affordable prices will be explored.

Mr. Neil Horden serves as Chief Consultant of Federal Engineering’s consulting practice. He is a 34-year veteran of the wireless communications industry and began his career with Federal Engineering in 2004. Mr. Horden is a member of APCO and serves on their Commercial Advisory Council. He is also a member of NENA, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and the Radio Club of America (RCA). Mr. Horden serves on MissionCritical Communications magazine’s editorial advisory board. He presents regularly at APCO and NENA national and regional conferences, as well as the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE).
