Pictometry Announces Strategic Appointment to Executive Team
Rochester, N.Y. — Pictometry International Corporation announces the appointment of James F. Smyth as Chief Marketing Officer. In this new role, Smyth will oversee corporate and product marketing for Pictometry’s growing Government and Commercial business units.

Smyth has more than 30 years of marketing and business development experience with extensive expertise in electronic publishing and media. His career includes several years in key leadership roles within global information provider LexisNexis in North America, Europe and Asia. There, he focused on the company’s legal and business markets and served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Emerging Markets. Smyth has been a pioneer in bringing content, applications and technology to the professional desktop and will continue doing so with the latest visual, image-based solutions on the market today.
Prior to joining Pictometry, Smyth founded Ezults, a company that enables business professionals to implement successful net leadership strategies using search, social media, and digital technologies to build reputational awareness and effectively engage with customers online. Smyth is a graduate of SUNY Oswego where he earned a bachelor’s degree and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
