Delegates from 9 Countries to Attend APCO Global Congress
Alexandria, VA, — Next month, Dubai will host delegates from around the world to attend the APCO Global Congress. The Congress, to be held 6-8 June, 2011 will introduce an array of new technology and training to Middle East public safety practitioners.
To date, delegations from nine countries, including Australia, Cameroon, Canada, Jordan, Nigeria, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and United States, have registered to attend the inaugural event.
The attendees represent a variety of organizations from local and national public safety agencies such as Dubai Civil Defence and Nedaa and Jordan’s National Center for Security and Crisis Management to commercial companies such as Cameroon-based Group2n and Saudi Arabia-based Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco).
“This international group of attendees will have the unique opportunity to gain different perspectives from all over the world at the Congress,” said Gavin Hayes, chair of the APCO Global Alliance.
APCO Global Congress has received strong support of the Dubai Convention Bureau and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. Registration is open for the event at www.apcoglobalcongress.org.
