Brown County, Wis., Takes on Emergency Dispatch for Ashwaubenon
November 18, 2010Ashwaubenon, Wis. — Brown County takes over the village’s dispatching duties for police, fire and emergency medical services beginning today. The Ashwaubenon Department of Public Safety has handled the calls in-house since 1982, but agreed to merge with the Brown County Public Safety Communications Center earlier this year to streamline services and save money.
