March 30, 2012Last week, Natalie Duran, fire communications officer with Miami Dade Fire Rescue Department, was appointed to the position of APCO International co-chair of the National Joint TERT Initiative (NJTI). Before her appointment, Duran was the Florida representative to the NJTI Board. She replaces APCO International Life Member Brent Lee in the role.

November 2, 2011For the past several years, an anonymous team of experienced communications professionals has roamed the exhibit hall at the Annual APCO International Conference & Exposition reviewing new products (those released in the past year) and bringing their favorites to our attention for publication in Public Safety Communications.
