TeleCommunication Systems Selected by State of Tennessee for Next Generation 9-1-1 Services

Annapolis, Md. — TeleCommunication Systems Inc. (TCS) today announced that it has been awarded a contract by the state of Tennessee to provide NG9-1-1 management and integration services. TCS is the first company in the nation to build a NG9-1-1 solution using a state’s existing IP network and to implement a flexible architecture that allows seamless interoperability with other vendors’ products and services.
