Clinics Face Medical Board Inquiry
September 6, 2011The New Mexico Medical Board has agreed to investigate two Albuquerque clinics that perform abortions after receiving complaints based on 911 calls for emergency transports of clinic patients to hospitals. Representatives for the clinics say the complaints to the board are nothing more than a national strategy of harassment by anti-abortion advocates.
