March 23, 2017James Westover serves as the state frequency coordinator and LMR system manager for the statewide P25 trunked radio system for the State of Wisconsin at the Department of Transportation, Division of State Patrol. Additionally, he sits on the State Interoperability Council’s LMR Subcommittee and is active in the state’s COMU program. James has been a licensed amateur radio operator and active in the LMR industry for over 20 years in a variety of capacities and has also been an APCO Local Advisor for about a year. Previously, he was the Statewide Interoperability Coordinator (SWIC) and a public safety dispatcher.
